INSTRUCTIONS FOR PBNET
For the best results, we recommend that you use Microsoft Explorer with
128-bit encryption. Other browser may work, however you may experience limited
services. As a security precaution, all browsers must have 128-bit encryption.
These instructions are provided to assist you in accessing your account
information. At the home page of
www.preferredbank.com, click on On-Line Banking.
First Time User
Click on the button First Time Log In. This is our on-line banking
agreement that you may print or read. To go forward, you must scroll to the
bottom of the page and click on I Accept.Enter your account number in the Access ID field, choose the Account Type
and enter your Prefone password. Click on Submit. If you do not know your Prefone password, contact your branch. A customer service representative
will ask you a question to properly identify you then will provide you with
the temporary password.

accounts and last 4 digits of Employer Identification Number for business

When you do a First Time Log In, you have the option to change your
Access ID. You can either enter your account number or a personal access ID.
It must be at least 6 digits. You will also be forced to change your
password. At the Change Password screen, enter your Current Password
and New
Password twice. You cannot use the current password again. The new password
must be a minimum of 6 characters with at least one alpha and one numeric.
The password is also case sensitive, so if you change your password using
lower case, you must always use the lower case characters. Click on Submit.
Previous
Users
- Click on the second button, Log In.
- At the Log In screen, enter your access ID and password and click
Submit.
Access Each
Account
To access each account, place the cursor over the Account Number,
which is highlighted in red and double click.

Exporting
Transactions
You can export transactions to various software programs. The description of
the File Format is:
Comma Separated Files (.CSV) – Export to Excel, Lotus 123, Access (ASCII format)
Quicken Interchange Format(.QIF) – Export to Quicken
Open Financial Exchange (.OFX) – Export to Money
