PBnet Personal Online Banking

Preferred Bank's PBnet Personal Online Banking service offers our customers a secure way to bank.  You can do most banking transactions right from your personal computer or internet-enabled mobile device. To enroll, click the First Time User link on the Online Banking section of the homepage. Services we provide include:

PBnet Personal Bill Pay

PBnet Personal Bill Pay allows users of PBnet Personal Online Banking to receive and pay their bills in a secure way.  With just a few clicks you can electronically send your bills without writing a check or paying for postage.  Some of the features of our Bill Pay include:

Visa Debit Card

Preferred Bank's Visa Debit Card acts like a Visa but works like a check.  You can use the card to make a purchases anywhere that accepts Visa by signing or using your secure PIN and the merchant debits your designated Preferred Bank checking account. 

Popmoney® – Person to Person Payments

Preferred Bank's Popmoney® is a personal payments service that allows you to send money to anyone, regardless of where they bank, using only their email address or mobile phone number.  You can also receive money directly into your checking account.  Popmoney® allows you to send an email requesting payments from multiple people.  With Popmoney® you can:

  • Pay back a friend for dinner
  • Send money to your child at college
  • Pitch in for your office holiday party
  • Pay your neighborhood babysitter
  • Send a birthday or graduation gift of money
  • Request payments from your roommates for rent
  • Collect money from your child's soccer team for an upcoming team trip


With today's reality of identity theft, it is important than ever to protect your financial information from identity thieves.  Preferred Bank's eStatements allow for a safe, secure and green method to receive your monthly statements and occasional account notices.  Each time your statement is ready to view, you receive an email reminder to log on to your PBnet Personal Online Banking account.  Once logged on to our secure site, you can view up to 12 months of statements and notices.  You can print or download these statements/notices for future reference.  There is no charge for this service.

Personal Check Reorders & Order Status

Reordering checks can be time consuming.  Preferred Bank allows you to to reorder your personal checks from your home or office.  Click the link below to begin the reorder process or to check the status of your current order securely with our check printing company, Deluxe.

Preferred Bank additionally offers Telebanking for customers who do not have a computer or cannot get access to their computer, but still need information about their accounts.  By calling (877) PRE PHONE or (877) 773-3663 you can access the following services:

  • Check on your balance
  • View recent and pending transactions
  • Transfer between accounts
  • Request a faxed statement1

Wire Transfers2

Preferred Bank offers both incoming and outgoing Wire Transfer services.  You can send money domestically or internationally.  We accept outgoing wire transfer requests by completing a US Dollar Wire Transfer Instructions or Foreign Currency Wire Transfer Instructions and presenting it in person or by fax at one of our local branches.  To receive an incoming wire transfer to your Preferred Bank account, please follow the Incoming Wire Transfer Instructions.
